Surfing is a Trip

Oh hell no. Nekton?? They chose Nekton (which makes me think of "neck town") over "Lo Bro Pro Sho" or "Lopez on the Rocks" or Steve, what was yours... "Hunky Surfers Shop?"

I'll be going to Neck Town this weekend to see what all the hype isn't about... oh, and maybe they need a website built.

This one reminded me of the Big Foot photo. I am looking a little stiff here but it's really because the wetsuit is getting a little snug. 

 
Just going through some old photos and this one reminded of those cold winter days.

FYI, there is a new version of Picasa that includes a web album. It's an invite only beta but you can ask for an invite at http://picasaweb.google.com

I think this is a real "beta" so I would do a backup before the install. The reason I want to install it is because of the following features:

* View folders by hierarchy - Our new version automatically re-sorts your photos in your Picasa library so the organization exactly matches the folders and subfolders in your computer’s file directory.

* Save edits to disk - When you edit photos in Picasa, now you can choose to save those edits as you go, replacing the original photos with your newly edited versions. (Note: Picasa will never overwrite your original files until you ask it to save.)


I always thought Picasa was weird in these two areas.
